The Sagebien Wheel

Between the years 2000 and 2004, Davis Collaborative sub-company Davis Hydro studied the Sagebien Turbine as a fish passage device, to pass fish up and downstream past low head dams.

The project concluded that the Sagebien Wheel is not useful as a fish passage device.

However, during that research, considerable insight was gathered regarding use of air curtains as fish herding devices. Information on those results is contained in the final report, and is also referenced in additional research being performed by the TDC
